Project Manager – Creative Construction / Experiential Builds

About the Role

A dynamic creative construction studio is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of set builds, installations, activations, and experiential projects across film, TV commercials, events, brand experiences, and exhibitions.

This is a hands-on delivery role working closely with clients, designers, and production teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high creative and technical standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of set builds, installations, and experiential projects
• Work closely with clients and design teams to interpret concepts and bring them into buildable solutions
• Manage workshop production and onsite installation phases, ensuring smooth execution across all stages
• Interpret construction drawings and technical plans, communicating clearly to all stakeholders
• Coordinate and manage crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project delivery
• Take ownership of project budgets, tracking costs and completing post-project financial reconciliation
• Ensure strict adherence to health & safety standards across all site and workshop activities
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, internal teams, and external partners
• Make confident, timely decisions to resolve issues and keep projects on track
• Monitor quality and detail throughout both production and onsite delivery phases

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in film, TV, events, exhibitions, brand experiences, or similar experiential environments
• Strong background in construction, workshop production, or technical build environments
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans
• Experience managing workshop teams, onsite crews, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Strong technical production knowledge and understanding of build processes
• Solid understanding of health & safety requirements and documentation
• Strong budgeting and cost management experience, including post-project reconciliation
• Excellent communication skills with clients and internal teams
• Fast-thinking, decisive, and confident under pressure
