Site Hygiene Manager (Nights) | FMCG | Northamptonshire | £60,000–£65,000

We’re hiring an experienced Site Hygiene Manager to lead night shift operations in a fast-paced FMCG food manufacturing environment. This is a senior leadership role with real influence perfect for someone who thrives on driving standards, developing teams, and delivering continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading a large hygiene function: 2 Hygiene Managers + 40 Operators
• Driving improvements in cleaning efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability
• Owning and delivering the site hygiene strategy (up to 6 months planning)
• Leading KPI performance, budgets, and forecasting (labour & chemicals)
• Managing customer visits, audits, and vendor relationships
• Leading root cause analysis and microbiological improvement initiatives
• Building a strong health & safety and hygiene culture across site
• Collaborating cross-functionally (Engineering, Production, Technical)

✅ What we’re looking for:

• Proven leadership experience in food manufacturing or FMCG
• Strong background in chilled/high-risk environments (preferred)
• Solid understanding of BRC audits and retailer standards
• Track record of delivering hygiene excellence and continuous improvement
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing large teams and driving cultural change
