Talent Development Director | One of the UK’s Fastest-Growing Consumer Brands | Multi-Site

One of the UK’s most exciting and fastest-growing consumer brands is looking for a Talent Development Director to help build the people capability that will power the next phase of growth.

And this isn’t incremental growth either. The business is set to grow by more than 400% over the next five years.

With a genuinely exceptional culture, a product customers genuinely love, and ambitious expansion plans already underway, this is a rare opportunity for a senior Talent leader to step into a role where the impact will be visible across the entire business.

This is a broad Talent Development leadership role spanning Learning & Development, Leadership Development, Organisation Design, Performance, Succession and Talent Strategy.

The foundations are there. What they need now is someone who can build the capability required for serious scale.

The agenda is hugely exciting:

  • Rebuilding the induction experience to support rapid growth
  • Redesigning the apprenticeship offering
  • Creating a leadership development programme that builds the next generation of leaders
  • Ensuring Talent Acquisition is set up to attract the right people at pace and volume
  • Owning performance and succession frameworks
  • Leading and developing a growing Talent team

And the important bit – the business knows that delivering against its growth ambitions depends on getting this agenda right. This is a genuine value-creation role with full backing from the leadership team.

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who has operated at Director level within Talent Development and can demonstrate real breadth across the full employee lifecycle. Ideally, you’ll have built high-performing Talent functions within fast-growth, operationally complex, multi-site environments before.

  • You’ll be strategic, commercially minded and able to think long-term – but equally comfortable rolling your sleeves up and getting close to the detail when needed.
  • You’ll also be someone who uses data well; not just to measure performance, but to influence decisions and demonstrate impact.
  • Most importantly, we want someone who genuinely loves this space. Someone with energy, ambition and a real passion for building people capability at scale.

The role reports directly to the COO and offers a clear path toward a broader People Director remit as the business continues to grow.
