The role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant General Manager with strong wine knowledge to join our team. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and has a genuine enthusiasm for wine, service excellence, and team leadership.
You will play a key role in delivering outstanding guest experiences, supporting daily operations, and driving revenue through effective wine service and team development.
What you’ll be responsible for;
Core responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations
- Deliver exceptional guest service and implement and maintain high service standards
- Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team
- Provide confident wine recommendations and enhance guest experience
- Oversee stock control, inventory, and cost management
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and licensing regulations
