We are looking for a Research Manager to join our client in London on the data and insights team focused on online harms.


As a Research Manager, you will play a key role in designing, delivering, writing, and communicating research across a wide range of online harms topics to government, law enforcement, and regulatory clients. Reporting to and line-managed by the Associate Research Director, you will both conduct and oversee OSINT investigations and use your excellent organisational skills and varied subject knowledge to help the team analyse complex qualitative and quantitative data and produce clear, actionable reports.


THE ROLE:

The Research Manager will oversee monthly and ad-hoc research projects from design through to reporting, including working with the research and engineering teams to develop robust methodological approaches and create detailed project management plans. You will contribute to the ongoing work we provide our operational, policy and communication clients to deliver research that has meaningful impact on combatting online threats.


The role is ideal for someone with excellent organisational skills, experience working on both qualitative and quantitative research approaches, and a wide interest in the various threat types that sit within online harms in a UK and EU context. The role will require exposure to harmful content, including terrorism and violent extremism, non-ideological violence, and serious organised crime.
