The Role
As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of commercial and industrial electrical projects. You’ll work closely with engineers, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful tender submissions and smooth project handovers.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates and quotations
✔ Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
✔ Price materials, labour, and project costs accurately
✔ Produce competitive bids and tender submissions
✔ Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations
✔ Work closely with project managers and engineering teams
✔ Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
✔ Assist in securing new business opportunities through successful tenders
What We’re Looking For
✔ Previous experience as an Electrical Estimator
✔ Strong understanding of commercial and industrial electrical installations
✔ Experience in cost control, pricing, and tendering
✔ Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
✔ Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
✔ Strong communication and organisational abilities
✔ Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines
✔ Full UK driving licence preferred
✔ Right to work in the UK
