Maintenance Electrician
- Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
- Location: North East UK (Nationwide travel required)
- Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
- Start Date: ASAP
Day-to-day of the role:
- Carry out general electrical maintenance across client sites.
- Perform fire alarm testing, emergency lighting checks, and regular compliance inspections.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults including fuse board issues and general remedial work.
- Replace and repair lighting systems, components, and fittings.
- Complete both PPM tasks and respond to reactive maintenance requests.
- Travel nationwide Monday-Friday as required to meet operational demands.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with relevant regulations and internal procedures.
- Maintain accurate records, job sheets, and system updates using company-provided IT tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Fully qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable).
- Proven experience in commercial or industrial maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel nationwide throughout the week.
- Full UK driving licence.
