Music Teacher (Permanent)
Cambridgeshire Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full Time, Permanent Salary: £33,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
REED Education is delighted to be working in partnership with an Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' secondary school in Cambridgeshire to recruit a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher for a full-time, permanent role starting September 2026.

The Role:
- Deliver high-quality Music lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Inspire a love of music through performance, composition, and listening
- Teach a range of musical styles and support instrumental and vocal development
- Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of students of varying abilities
- Contribute to a collaborative and creative Music department
- Support and, where appropriate, contribute to extracurricular activities such as ensembles, concerts, or school productions
- Play an active role in the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate:
- Ideally QTS (or working towards it), though strong unqualified teachers will be considered
- Passionate about Music education and inspiring young musicians
- Confident classroom and practical teaching skills
- Strong organisation, communication, and behaviour management
- Committed to high standards and student progress
- ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply
