Our ECT Talent Pool for September 2026 is now open.

Reed Education works in partnership with schools and academies across Norfolk and Suffolk, supporting Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to secure their first teaching post with confidence.

Whether you are still completing your teacher training or have recently qualified and are yet to secure your first role, our ECT Talent Pool is designed to help connect you with suitable opportunities as they arise.

Norfolk is a fantastic place to live and work, offering a wide range of teaching opportunities across:

• Large urban and city schools
• Smaller rural schools
• Special schools and SEN settings
• Multi-academy trusts

Through Reed Education, schools regularly access our ECT Talent Pool to identify candidates for upcoming vacancies - often before posts are formally advertised.

As an ECT registered with Reed, you will benefit from:

We welcome applications if:

• You are currently completing teacher training and seeking your first teaching post for September 2026, or
• You have completed your teacher training but have not yet secured your first teaching role, or
• You meet either of the above criteria and are interested in working in a special school or SEN setting (please indicate this in your application).

• We match and share suitable ECT profiles from the Talent Pool
• Your application will only be shared with schools whose criteria you meet

Registration does not restrict you from applying directly to schools yourself - it simply increases your visibility and can help you secure a role earlier in the recruitment cycle.
