Secondary Teacher

We are recruiting for a Secondary Teacher to join a specialist school in Hastings that supports pupils aged 11-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as those in alternative provision. Whether you are an experienced SEN Teacher, an ECT, or a mainstream Secondary Teacher looking to transition into a specialist environment, this role offers excellent support and development.

• Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs

• Support pupils with SEMH needs to re-engage with education

• Create a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment

• Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and leadership

• Implement behaviour management strategies effectively

• Monitor and track student progress

• Specialist provision for pupils aged 11-16

• Focus on SEMH and alternative provision

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Strong classroom management and communication skills
