Quality Inspector - Pumps

Quality Inspector (Machining / Heavy Engineering) Glasgow | Circa 37,000 | Day Shift The Role We are working with an established engineering business who are looking to bring in a Quality Inspector to support inspection activities across machined components. This is a hands-on role, focused on dimensional inspection, reading engineering drawings, and ensuring components meet required specifications. What you'll be doing: Inspecting machined components against engineering drawings Recording measurements and completing inspection reports Identifying and documenting non-conformances (NCR process) Working with a range of metrology equipment Supporting quality standards across the shop floor What we're looking for: Time served within an engineering environment Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar inspection role Strong experience using metrology equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience in a machining or heavy engineering environment Desirable: Exposure to CMM Awareness of NDE processes What's on offer: Competitive salary Bonus scheme 33 days holiday Pension and life cover Ongoing development opportunities You must have the right to work in the UK and be able to obtain security clearance.41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15
