ALink Recruitment are working with a medium sized engineering and project management consultancy based in Canary Wharf, looking for a handful of Project Engineers with a strong rail background.nDay-to-day you will be involved in the design, engineering and project management of infrastructure projects based in the UK. You will be required to assist in planning, coordinating and executing engineering projects within your area of expertise, as well as representing at client facing meetings with confidence and credibility. You will be working closely and directly with external/client staff, key stakeholders and the internal team.n· Experience in multidisciplinary environmentn· Prepare, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projectsn· Prepare technical specifications and documents for bidding and constructionn· Monitor compliance to applicable codes, standards and specificationsn· Communicate with the project manager and wider team to provide assistance and technical supportnEssential Criteria:n· Right to work in the UKn· Degree in Engineering (Bsc, MSc or MEng)n· At least 3+ years of previous professional engineering design/ design management experience on transportation, water, and/or land development projects is requiredn· Experience in the Rail Industry and a sound understanding of the Rail Environment, rules and regulationsn· Experience and good knowledge of Network Rail GRIP, PACE and/or TfL Pathwayn· Excellent written and verbal communication skillsn· Proven ability to work under pressure within time constraintsn· Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge basen· Proven capability to build relationships, be proactive and be part of a variety of teams, including multidisciplinary teamsn· Computer literate and good experience of computer software programs such as, MS Office (Word, Excel, Project)nDesirable Criterian· AutoCAD drafting and 3D/BIM modellingn· Masters of Science Degree in Engineering Subject or related
