To make you success with this role, you will provide comprehensive business, analytical and administrative support to the department, contributing to business planning, performance monitoring, risk management, and cross-functional coordination. This role offers strong exposure to wholesale banking and Financial Institutions business within an international banking environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the formulation and implementation of departmental business plans, including KPI setting, performance tracking, and business development initiatives
- Assist with budgeting, management information reporting, and Head Office/regulatory reporting
- Coordinate closely with Corporate Banking and Treasury on relevant business activities and joint initiatives
- Liaise with internal stakeholders including Finance, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, FinTech, and Audit to ensure smooth execution of FI-related activities
- Monitor FI credit portfolio and identify potential risks arising from market or counterparty developments
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing internal control frameworks and risk management processes
- Organise departmental meetings, seminars, and client events, ensuring effective end-to-end coordination
- Monitor departmental expenditure, including vendor payments and event-related costs
- Conduct market research and analysis on macroeconomic trends, regulatory developments, and industry insights, and prepare reports for internal stakeholders and Head Office
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above from a reputable university
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience, preferably within banking or financial services
- Sound understanding of wholesale banking products and FI business
- Strong analytical, organisational, and time management skills
- High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent communication skills in English; Mandarin is advantageous but not mandatory
