Purchase Ledger Executive Limavady £35k to £39k (Depending on experience)

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger Executive to join a growing organisation within the engineering and infrastructure sector. This role is ideal for someone with strong purchase ledger experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to continuous improvement across finance processes.

Duties:

Complete supplier reconciliations

Process monthly supplier payments

Assist with the implementation of new systems, including SICON

Reconcile nominal ledgers to P&L and balance sheet, investigating variances

Produce commercial reports, including aged creditors and payment reports

Support KPI reporting and help enhance weekly and monthly reporting processes

Assist in the preparation of management accounts

Gather documentation and submit Intrastat reports to HMRC

Post invoices on SAGE 200 and resolve supplier queries efficiently

Provide payroll processing cover when required

Undertake additional duties as required within the finance function

Criteria:

Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, ideally within the purchase ledger

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

Proficiency in accounting software

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Self-motivated with a proactive, can-do attitude

Strong organisational skills with a disciplined approach to work

Adaptable and keen to work in a growing, evolving business environment
