The Role
As a Product Owner for Data & Analytics, you will be responsible for defining and driving the vision, roadmap, and adoption of reporting and analytics products across the firm. Rather than being hands‑on in building dashboards, you will focus on ensuring the right solutions are delivered to meet business needs.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, analysts, and engineers to prioritise initiatives, translate business objectives into clear product requirements, and ensure delivery of high‑quality, scalable analytics solutions. A key part of the role will be championing the use of data, improving user experience, and ensuring reporting products are aligned with strategic goals.
You will also play a central role in governance, data quality oversight, and continuous improvement of the analytics ecosystem—ensuring users have access to trusted, well‑designed, and impactful insights.
Key Skills
- Proven experience operating as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role within data and analytics
- Strong understanding of BI tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI
- Ability to define product vision, manage backlogs, and prioritise delivery based on business value
- Experience translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, and best practices in analytics delivery
- Experience driving adoption of data products and improving user engagement
- Excellent communication skills across both technical and non‑technical audiences
