Job Summary

Provide and maintain support to the Business Information Manager, acting as a point of contact for updating estate space, occupancy and usage data, and contributing to accurate annual ERIC return submissions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update accurate estate information and serve as liaison for estate space data.
  • Support the Business Information Manager and senior operational estates officers with additional estates databases such as Asbestos Register, Fire Compartment Integrity, Compliance, backlog maintenance (Facets 1–6), Equality Survey data and other databases as directed.
  • Provide database management and technical support to the Business Information Manager.
  • Deliver information reporting to a range of end users and keep knowledge of reporting responsibilities.
  • Use Micad, BORIS and other databases to support senior officers of EF&D.
  • Investigate internal and external queries regarding estate information and statutory returns.
  • Manage databases for backlog maintenance and all six facet information sources for the Trust, Commissioners and Department of Health, consolidating estate information and occupancy statistics.
  • Contribute to the annual Estates Reporting Information Collection (ERIC).
  • Undertake regular analysis to ensure consistent and accurate reporting of operational/business activities.
  • Maintain advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Applications, Internet Property Register (Micad), PhotoShop and AutoCAD.
  • Investigate and develop management information reporting using latest analytical and statistical methodologies and toolkits.
  • Provide high‑quality information on an ad hoc basis with tight deadlines.
  • Routinely conduct data‑quality checks to ensure high accuracy of data.
  • Prepare reports for committees or other ad hoc requests to key senior operational estates officers.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Applications, Micad, PhotoShop, and AutoCAD.
  • Experience with estate information databases including Asbestos Register, Fire Compartment Integrity, Compliance, and backlog maintenance.
  • Strong analytical and data‑analysis skills.
  • Ability to provide accurate reporting to a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience investigating and resolving queries on estate information and statutory returns.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data‑quality checking skills.
