The company’s 3‑year apprenticeship programme in electrical/electronic engineering provides an excellent opportunity to gain work‑based training while studying towards a recognised vocational qualification (Level 4 HNC) and other relevant technical certificates, with the possibility of progressing to further qualifications.

Salary increases each year on apprenticeship dependent on performance. Wage increase once apprenticeship is completed.

Training course: Engineering manufacturing technician (Level 4)

Hours: Monday to Thursday 09:00‑17:00; Friday 09:00‑16:30 (37 hours a week). Start date: 1 September 2026. Duration: 3 years 5 months.

What You’ll Do at Work

Training

Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.

You will be required to attend Advance 1 Campus, Dudley College, DY1 4AD, 1 day per week in term time only.

Upon successful completion you will receive a Level 4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician (elec/elec) HNC Apprenticeship qualification.

You will be assigned an assessor who will visit you in the workplace every 6–8 weeks to support you on your apprenticeship.
