Partner Integration Manager
At Trainline, the Industry Operations team sits at the intersection of our partners and our platform. This role is pivotal in aligning external partners with our internal Product, Engineering, Commercial, and Legal teams to deliver high‑impact solutions. You will own the technical relationship with key Spanish partners and carriers, ensuring their capabilities are effectively represented in our product roadmap while driving initiatives that support business continuity, customer experience, and market growth. This role can be based in London, Paris, or Barcelona.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for Spanish rail partners, owning relationships end‑to‑end and building long‑term strategic alignment
- Lead technical discussions with external partners, identifying when to engage internal engineering teams
- Define and drive product and engineering priorities on a regular cadence, ensuring alignment with business goals and partner needs
- Negotiate enhancements to partner capabilities, both within existing agreements and through new opportunities
- Use data and insight to inform prioritisation, trade‑offs, and decision‑making across competing business needs
- Analyse requirements and ensure dependencies, risks, and constraints are clearly identified and managed ahead of delivery
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Platform teams to coordinate cross‑functional delivery
- Own and maintain clear documentation of technical requirements, priorities, decisions, and trade‑offs to ensure transparency and alignment
- Navigate and influence a complex stakeholder landscape, both internally and externally
Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish and English (essential)
- Strong understanding of APIs and technical integrations, with the ability to assess partner capabilities, identify commercial and technical trade‑offs, and drive improvements in integration quality and performance
- Experience engaging in technical discussions, with the ability to translate between business and engineering contexts
- Strong analytical and data skills (e.g. SQL; familiarity with GitLab or GitHub is a plus; experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau is beneficial)
- Proven ability to manage external partners and complex stakeholder environments
- Demonstrated ability to operate in complex, domain‑heavy environments and make informed trade‑offs
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Familiarity with software development concepts
- Experience working within European rail—particularly the Spanish rail market—is desirable but not necessary
