Role Overview
CGI’s Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit seeks an experienced DevOps engineer to join a cross‑functional team to define, guide and assure the delivery of integrated solutions for government agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and team members to design and implement mission‑critical systems.
- Drive integration, continuous delivery and operational excellence.
- Participate in the full system lifecycle from concept to production.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a DevOps engineer, preferably in government or defence environments.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, cloud platforms and containerisation.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Security Clearance
Due to the secure nature of the project, candidates must already hold, or be eligible to obtain, a high level of UK Security Clearance. Eligibility criteria: sole British national, resident in the UK for the past 10 years, and no more than 28 consecutive days spent outside the UK within the last five years.
Work Location
Primarily based on a secure client site; attendance required five days per week. Occasional flexibility may be possible depending on business needs and security constraints.
