Veterinary Surgeon – Pennine Vets, Tottington & Harwood
We are seeking a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon with around two years’ post‑qualification experience to join our well‑equipped practice in Greater Manchester. The role offers exposure to a varied caseload including exotics and provides a supportive, collaborative team environment.
Rota
40 hours per week across four days. Part‑time arrangements available. No out‑of‑hours, on‑call or Sunday work.
Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality clinical care and basic surgery for small animals and exotics.
- Carry out diagnostic investigations and manage a wide variety of cases.
- Support and mentor colleagues, contributing to team training and professional development.
- Maintain positive client relationships, delivering reassuring experiences.
- Participate in clinical audits and help shape clinical standards.
Qualifications
- Post‑qualification veterinary surgeon with approximately two years of experience.
- Confidence in clinical skills and diagnostics.
- Willingness to develop, including leadership or specialist pathways.
- Strong team player and natural mentor.
- Excellent client communication and care skills.
