Part time, Permanent, FTTE up to: 0.5

Early learning / kōhanga reo, certificated teacher. Belonging / Mana Whenua, Contribution / Mana Tangata, Communication / Mana Reo, Exploration / Mana Aotūroa, Well-being / Mana Atua.

Are you a passionate, nurturing and motivated registered kaiako looking to be part of a warm, supportive and growing early childhood team?

We are currently seeking a part-time registered kaiako to join our dedicated teaching team in the Over 2’s space.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a kaiako who:

  • Brings genuine warmth, patience and care to their teaching practice
  • Has a strong understanding of Te Whāriki and child-led learning
  • Values respectful relationships with tamariki, whānau and colleagues
  • Enjoys contributing ideas, creativity and positive energy to the team
  • Is confident documenting learning and supporting meaningful outcomes
  • Can work collaboratively while also showing initiative
  • Has experience working with mixed age group (2-5 years)

What the role is

  • Part-time position (20 hours with flexibility to increase)
  • Flexible days and hours
  • 2-5 mixed age group
  • Available to do open and closing shifts
  • Immediate start or by negotiation

  • Current NZ Teacher Registration and Practising Certificate
