We are looking for a Deputy Sister or Charge Nurse to join our multi‑disciplinary team, providing skilled care and expert advice to malignant and non‑malignant haematology/oncology patients and their families.

The post holder will lead by clinical excellence, manage and support staff, administer blood products, intravenous therapy and SACT, and identify patient needs to provide information, support and specialist clinical expertise.

They will assist in managing and organising the nursing service across haematology/oncology wards and day units at RSCH and PRH, manage shift rotations, and provide teaching and support to junior staff and those in training.

This role is eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) Skilled Worker route, subject to meeting the specific requirements set by UKVI, including relevant skill and salary thresholds (£25000).

The haematology unit consists of an 17‑bed acute ward nursing both haematology and oncology patients, including neutropenic septic, post‑bone‑marrow transplant and immunocompromised patients, chemotherapy, SACT and palliative care patients. A 6‑chair Haematology Day Unit provides outpatient treatments including chemotherapy, SACT and supportive therapies.
