Overview

Abbott’s Neuromodulation business is recruiting for a (Senior) Clinical Specialist to cover Region North (ideal candidate’s location Yorkshire or Leeds) to support customers and deliver best in class implantation and follow-up of DBS (Deep Brain Stimulation) and SCS (Spinal Cord Stimulation) across designated NHS and private hospitals.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide primary technical support to customers during implantation and follow-up
  • Perform Complex device/ programming troubleshooting independently
  • Assist in the management and delivery of regional customer education training events
  • Develop a clear understanding of regional account objectives and strategy for all accounts within the assigned region
  • Build strong and professional relationships in various hospital settings
  • Support regional NMD business strategy, via product implantation cover in accounts as agreed with the leadership team

This is a field based role with willingness to travel a minimum of 75% of the time.

What You’ll Need

  • BSc degree, ideally in a Scientific discipline
  • Experience in medical devices industry or physiotherapist/Pain Nurse looking to move into industry
  • Knowledge of UK healthcare market
  • Demonstrate ability to be flexible and adaptable with regards to working hours and location of customer support
  • Strong Communication Skills: Verbal and Written
  • Familiarity with clinic setting and operating room procedures and protocol (preferred)
  • Good keyboard skills and presentation skills to include: MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point and Email
