We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and experienced physiotherapist to provide leadership to our team of outpatient physiotherapists at Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Main duties of the job

The primary role is to provide leadership and supervision to the Adult MSK team, ensuring the department is providing an efficient and effective service as well as some day to day operational management. The post carries a clinical caseload.

You will be able to demonstrate highly specialist clinical, organisational, and leadership skills; and be expected to provide education, supervision and training to physiotherapy colleagues, students and other healthcare professionals.

You will be supported by the Operational Lead, Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Practitioners and Consultant Physiotherapist through a well‑established supervision and appraisal process. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, supportive team.

Person Specification

Experience

  • 5 years post Grad and 3 years MSK OP experience
  • Experience of managing people
  • Involvement in audit and understanding quality issues
  • Involved in quality improvement projects and service development
  • Experience of managing outpatient department

Qualifications

  • Diploma/BSc Degree in Physiotherapy
  • State registration with Health Professional Council
  • Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP)
  • Attained or working towards MACP, MSc in relevant area
