Job Description:

The Marketing Manager will lead strategic and operational marketing initiatives for Abbott Vascular’s SEA business, driving growth across three key franchises: Coronary and Core Coronary, OCT/FFR (PCIO), and Endovascular. This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that align with business objectives, internal team training on product & their clinical value proposition, developing marketing campaigns, customer insights and training, ensuring strong market penetration and revenue growth in a highly competitive environment.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for SEA to achieve revenue and market share targets across all franchises.
  • Conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence, and identify growth opportunities. Create go-to-market strategies for geographies within the region to supportindividualproductlaunches to maximize business growth.
  • Create Strong market models reflecting current market trends and competitive landscape
  • Routinely perform analyses of industry, market, and account-specific trends. Present findings inclear,consistentpresentationswith specific conclusions and proposed actions
  • Assess market for partnership, distribution, or co-promotional relationships. Propose possible deals or opportunities that would driveAV’sleadershippositionand incremental revenue.
  • Work closely with sales, clinical, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of marketing plans.
  • Support training programs for internal teams and external stakeholders.

Portfolio Management

  • Drive product positioning, pricing strategies, and lifecycle management for Coronary, Core Coronary, OCT/FFR, and Endovascular portfolios.
  • Plan and lead keyregionalmarketingeventswithin the region (conferences, company-sponsored industry events, etc.)
  • Provideregionalleadershiptosupport executionof localmarketingactivitiesandtactics.
  • Lead regularproducttrainingsessions(productinformation,clinicaldata, etc.) for AV staffthroughoutSEAregion.
  • Collaborate with global teams on new product launches and ensure successful commercialization in SEA.

Demand Generation & Customer Engagement

  • Design and execute campaigns to drive core business and market leadership
  • Design and execute campaigns to increase adoption of OCT and FFR technologies.
  • Partner with sales teams to develop physician engagement programs, KOL management, and educational initiatives. Create and lead KOL development and tracking activities; host advisory board meetings, and other Abbott organized clinical events.
  • Support launch planning and execution of new technologies
  • Drive internal team training and skill building initiatives
  • Run digital campaigns to drive reach and increase awareness

Financial Accountability

  • Manage marketing budgets effectively to deliver ROI.
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide regular business reviews to leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 6–10 years of marketing experience in medical devices or healthcare industry, with strong exposure to cardiovascular or vascular therapies.
  • Proven track record in managing multi-country marketing strategies and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Travel expectation 50% of the time
