We are looking to hire a Hardware Design & Verification Engineer to join their Birmingham-based team, working across PCB design, fault diagnosis, and production support on a varied range of electronic products.

The role

  • PCB schematic and circuit design for new and existing products
  • PCB redesign, troubleshooting, and production support
  • Component-level fault diagnosis, soldering, and rework
  • Product testing and validation using industry test equipment
  • Supporting engineering, production, and technical teams
  • Contributing to future product development and new technologies

The ideal Hardware Design background

  • Strong experience in electronics and hardware design
  • Proven PCB design experience across the full product lifecycle
  • Hands‑on fault finding and practical electronics skills
  • Experience with KiCAD (essential) and Altium (legacy support)
  • Confident using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators
  • Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable taking ownership

What’s on offer

  • £45,000 – £55,000 salary depending on experience
  • Single-site Birmingham location with excellent transport links
