Multiskilled Engineer - Fire, Security & Electrical Systems

The Role
As a Multi‑Skilled Engineer, you will carry out installation, maintenance, fault‑finding and repair of a variety of fire, security and electrical systems. You will work across residential and commercial sites, delivering high standards of workmanship, compliance and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, servicing and maintenance of fire alarm and life safety systems
- Fault diagnosis and rectification across fire, security and emergency lighting systems
- Working on systems including:
- Fire Detection & Alarm (BS 5839)
- AOV systems, smoke ventilation & EVAC
- Emergency & communal lighting (BS 5266)
- CCTV, access control, video entry & intruder alarms
- Carrying out electrical works where required, including testing and minor installations
- Completing job reports, certification and compliance paperwork
- Working in occupied residential and public‑sector environments
- Ensuring all works are completed in line with current UK regulations and company standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Multi‑Skilled Engineer within fire, security and/or electrical disciplines
- Good knowledge of:
- Conventional and addressable fire alarm systems
- Emergency lighting systems
- Basic electrical installations and fault‑finding
- Relevant industry qualifications (fire, electrical or security related)
- ECS / CSCS card (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Professional, reliable and safety‑focused approach
