Warranty Engineer - Energy from Waste
Fixed-Term Contract
We're looking for an experienced engineering professional to act as the on-site representative during the warranty phase of Energy-from-Waste projects. This role is critical to ensuring plant reliability, resolving defects efficiently, and supporting high-performance operations in line with both company and client expectations.
The Role
- Act as the on-site lead for warranty and defect resolution activities
- Coordinate contractors, specialists, and client teams to maintain or restore plant operation
- Investigate root causes, implement corrective actions, and minimise warranty risk and cost
- Support claims and cost recovery from subcontractors and partners
- Maintain accurate records with clear, timely reporting to stakeholders
- Ensure full compliance with HSE requirements and contribute to lessons learned
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in plant operation, construction, or commissioning
- Strong technical problem-solving and organisational skills
- Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with clients and partners
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Proactive, ethical, and self‑motivated team player
