Maintenance Engineer
Location: Telford Head Office
Salary: £45,000 per annum (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
An opportunity has arisen to join our Building Services team here at Lyreco in Telford. Our Maintenance Engineers are responsible for ensuring the operation and maintenance of all equipment in both our Warehouse and Offices.
Responsibilities
- Configure, install and commission equipment deemed necessary
- Maximise site efficiency by minimising equipment downtime
- Undertake maintenance work associated with building services as required
Qualifications and Requirements
- City & Guilds or equivalent in electro/mechanical engineering
- Recent demonstrable multi-skilled industry experience of electro/mechanical equipment (focus on electrical)
- Strong fault-finding experience across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and automated software-controlled equipment (hydraulics a bonus)
- Working knowledge/experience of logistics equipment (e.g., automated conveyor systems and packaging equipment, including AC motors and inverters)
- Working knowledge/experience of automated and PLC equipment (Siemens S7 knowledge/experience a bonus)
- Qualification/working experience on electrical installations (distribution boards, 3-phase and single-phase power supplies)
- Ability to work shifts
- Ability to undertake manual handling and physical activities
