Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Day to day: break and fix things, ensuring the best solution, architecture and engineering practices for long‑term growth of both the team and the company.
• Focus on a new product, requiring experience building product features.
• Tooling focused on Golang – you must be willing to code in Golang and ideally have done so before. Transferable skills within C++ or Python are also good.
• Work closely with databases – experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases is key.
• Used to the cloud and have worked with containers at various scales with different deployment methods.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, seeking out the information needed for success.
• Flat structure: collaborate frequently with the CTO and CEO.
• Ensure documentation is done to a high standard, contribute to architectural decisions and drive forward innovative greenfield developments to build great products.
• Work remotely across Europe, with infrequent visits to different European cities for collaboration.
