An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a highly respected engineering organisation operating within a complex and safety‑critical environment. This role sits within a growing calibration and maintenance team supporting advanced manufacturing operations.
Working Model: Fully onsite, 5 days per week
The Role:
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team supporting manufacturing and operational activities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on plant and process equipment
- Maintain specialised systems including environmental chambers, gas systems, and ESD‑controlled equipment
- Diagnose faults and perform root cause analysis to minimise downtime
- Ensure all maintenance work is completed in line with technical specifications and internal procedures
- Accurately record maintenance activities to ensure compliance and traceability
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the department
- Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing (e.g. ONC, Diploma, NVQ or equivalent)
- Completed Electrical or Manufacturing apprenticeship (Level 3 or equivalent standard)
- Proven experience maintaining and repairing industrial plant or process equipment
- Ability to follow manufacturer guidelines for servicing and maintenance
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
- Good IT skills, with experience using maintenance systems (SAP advantageous)
- Proactive approach with strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork
- Experience working with environmental test equipment or chambers
- Knowledge of compressed air, vacuum, or gas systems
- Background in electronics or manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with ESD testing procedures
- Understanding of electrical regulations such as 18th Edition or equipment inspection standards
