Manufacturing Engineer – Leeds, UK

Permanent role with salary £33,000 – £36,000 per annum (DOE).

Working hours: Monday – Friday (Day Shift).

28 days holiday, including bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing products and processes from concept to production.
• Using SolidWorks to create production‑ready designs and drawings.
• Designing jigs, fixtures, and assembly solutions.
• Supporting CNC routing, machining, welding and fabrication processes.
• Creating BOMs and SOPs for manufacturing.
• Driving Lean / 6S improvements and reducing waste.
• Supporting prototypes, problem‑solving and process optimisation.

Key Requirements

• ONC / HNC (or equivalent experience in engineering/manufacturing).
• Strong experience in a production or engineering environment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and create clear manufacturing instructions.
• Experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
• A background in fabrication, machining, or CNC processes.
• Any electrical engineering knowledge (desirable but not essential).
