Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Refrigeration Engineer, primarily based in Glasgow with some work-from-home flexibility. The Refrigeration Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and preventive care of refrigeration systems, with a focus on efficiency and ensuring minimal downtime. Daily tasks include diagnosing and resolving mechanical and technical issues, providing technical expertise, and ensuring systems meet safety and operational standards. Interaction with clients to deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues effectively forms an integral part of the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair and Preventive Maintenance of refrigeration systems.
• Understanding and experience working with CO2 refrigeration technology.
• Proven expertise in Mechanical Engineering and problem-solving skills related to refrigeration systems.
• Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to clients.
• Relevant certifications or training in refrigeration or mechanical engineering are advantageous.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Valid UK driver’s license is beneficial for on-site service requirements.
