We're hiring for a Service Engineer to join a specialist engineering business based in Manchester.

What will you be doing as a Service Engineer?
- Servicing and maintaining vehicle lifts, ramps and scissor lifts
- Working on equipment including compressors, tyre machines and brake testers
- Repairing and maintaining hose reels, pumps and galvanised pipework systems
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
- Diagnosing faults and completing electrical and mechanical repairs
- Performing equipment calibrations, breakdown repairs and system testing
- Reading and working from engineering schematics and technical drawings
- Completing service reports and identifying defects
- Supporting garage equipment installations and system checks when required
What will you need?
- Mechanical engineering qualification or relevant industry experience
- Previous experience working with vehicles, automotive equipment or workshop machinery
- Ability to carry out mechanical and electrical fault finding
- Full UK driving licence
