YOUR ROLE
As a HR Transformation Specialist – Public Sector, you will support the design and delivery of people‑centred transformation programmes for government and public sector clients. You will work as part of multidisciplinary consulting teams to analyse challenges, develop solutions, and help clients modernise their HR services, operating models and ways of working.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting the delivery of HR transformation projects across HR, Finance, and Procurement functions in large‑scale and diverse Public Sector workforce groups.
- Contributing to operating model design, process improvement, workforce analysis and organisational change activities. This will include designing and implementing maturity assessments & improvement plans covering process, data, technology, people and culture.
- Conducting research, data analysis and benchmarking to diagnose issues and generate evidence‑based insights that shape client recommendations.
- Facilitating workshops and engaging with client stakeholders, and producing high‑quality deliverables, such as assessments, process maps, design options, business cases and presentations.
- Contributing to practice development, including knowledge creation, internal initiatives and supporting bids or proposals.
CAREER GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT
- Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
- Internal contribution – Campaign development, internal think‑tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
- Learning & development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.
YOUR PROFILE
- Experience in HR, transformation or organisational change within or alongside the Public Sector, or similar strongly regulated sectors, with a solid understanding of workforce and operational challenges.
- In‑depth functional expertise across several HR pillars such as Recruitment & Onboarding, Talent and Performance.
- Analytical, structured and detail‑oriented, able to break down complex problems and communicate insights clearly.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with clients, supporting workshops and presenting findings confidently.
- A proactive, collaborative team player, comfortable working in fast‑paced consulting environments and contributing to wider team success.
