Caritas Recruitment is working with Cafcass to recruit an experienced Agency Family Court Adviser (FCA) to support Work After First Hearing (WAFH) across Public and Private Law.

This is a temporary interim role offering excellent hourly pay and flexibility of office base.

Please note that only Social Work England Registered Social Workers with Right to Work in the UK will be considered for this role; please do not apply if you are not a SWE Registered Social Worker who has the Right to Work in the UK.

Role Details

• Role: Agency FCA – WAFH (Public & Private Law)
• Client: Cafcass
• Location: Peterborough or South Lincolnshire (Office base either Peterborough or Lincoln)
• Contract Type: Temporary
• Duration: Until 31/03/2027
• Hours: 37 per week
• Pay Rate: £33 per hour (standard supply rate only)
• Headcount: 1
• Reason for Vacancy: Temporary interim capacity

Responsibilities

This role focuses on WAFH, covering both Public and Private Law work.

Essential Criteria

• Social Work qualified
• Social Work England registered
• Enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months via the submitting agency
• Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship available)

Desirable Criteria

• Minimum 3 years post-qualified experience
