Overview
We are working with a globally recognised organisation seeking a Catering Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of catering operations across events. This is a high‑impact role overseeing long‑term planning, logistics, and on‑site execution for large‑scale, multi‑site events, ensuring industry‑leading standards across hospitality, retail, and VIP catering experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of catering operations across major events
- Manage full project lifecycle from concept to execution
- Oversee caterer and contractor tender processes and appointments
- Design and implement catering layouts and infrastructure onsite
- Manage staffing, training, and operational readiness
- Oversee menus and catering offer across multiple audience groups
- Control budgets, supplier performance, and commercial outcomes
- Collaborate with venues and external partners
- Drive post‑event evaluation and continuous improvement
About You
- Proven experience in large‑scale event catering
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Experience managing contractors, suppliers, and complex logistics
- Commercially aware with budget management experience
- Confident stakeholder manager, including senior and high‑profile clients
- Highly organised, detail‑driven, and calm under pressure
