Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client for this permanent position of Area Sales Manager.
Area Sales Manager – Location: London & Surrounding Areas – Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies in collaboration with the National Sales Manager.
- Drive growth within the hospitality, hotel, and contracts sectors.
- Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring regular engagement.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across the UK.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Develop and manage a strong project pipeline aligned with sales targets.
- Maintain and expand approved supplier agreements with hotel groups, architects, and interior designers.
- Ensure effective internal communication to support project delivery.
- Manage customer issues professionally, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
- Visit project sites when required to support sales processes.
- Follow company processes and maintain high-quality standards.
- Contribute ideas to improve efficiency, product quality, and performance.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Meet and exceed KPIs and sales targets.
- Adhere to all company policies, including Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.
- Maintain a flexible approach to working hours, including attending events when required.
Knowledge & Experience
Essential
- Proven success in a Sales Manager or similar role.
- Experience within the lighting and/or hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of marketing strategies, including social media.
- Good technical knowledge.
Desirable
- Experience managing and motivating teams.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.

- Bonus structure: 5% of salary upon achieving agreed sales targets.
- Additional scaled bonus for exceeding targets (details TBC).
- Additional 5% bonus if company achieves PBT.
