Human Resources Change Partner – Overview
We’re looking for a Human Resources Change Partner to be the trusted guide and expert voice in our people‑led transformation journey. This role focuses on the big shifts that shape our organisation – restructures, mergers, TUPE and more. You’ll partner with senior leaders and work across squads to design, deliver, and embed change that sticks while keeping people, values, and diversity front and centre.
Responsibilities
• Identify and map impact, manage risk, and ensure clear, empathetic communication, consultation, and capability‑building during change initiatives.
• Build toolkits and dashboards to visualize and communicate the story of change.
• Lead change design and tactical delivery, ensuring alignment with policy and legislation.
• Embed responsible, sustainable change practices across the organisation.
Must Have Experience
- Consistent record delivering large‑scale complex restructuring initiatives in a dynamic environment.
- Deep knowledge of TUPE regulations and practical experience handling large‑scale employee transfers and mergers.
- Demonstrable ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously, meet tight timelines, and achieve key turning points.
- Proficiency managing a variety of employment contract types, terms, conditions, and organisational policies, ensuring accurate interpretation and compliance.
- Experience delivering change in conjunction with employee representatives, forums, and trade unions.
- Strong ability to build recommendation on change approach, taking risks into account and mitigating where possible.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – coaching, influencing, negotiating, leading, and setting change expectations at all levels.
- Collaborative approach with confidence to challenge constructively and guide discussions toward positive, actionable outcomes.
- Champion data‑driven tools (engagement surveys, exit surveys) to make data‑informed decisions and improve colleague experience.
- Ability to navigate sophisticated stakeholder environments and adapt communication style to varied audiences and decision‑making contexts.
- Experience using essential change tools such as impact assessments, project plans, and change roadmaps.
