Health & Wellbeing Business Support Co‑ordinator
Health and Wellbeing. BSC/04/26. Job Grade: Executive Officer 2 (EO2). Permanent. Salary will be in the range £30,458 – £31,097 per annum. Closing date for applications: 17:00 on Monday 11th May 2026.
Purpose of the role
Reporting to the Individual Needs Programme Officer, the Business Support Co-ordinator will facilitate clients’ access to VSS services, and ensure efficient call handling and a positive client experience with VSS.
Essential criteria
By the closing date for applications, candidates must demonstrate that they fulfil each of the following essential criteria:
- 5 GCSEs grade A-C (or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics.
- 2 years’ practical experience in the following areas:
- Effectively managing complex client interactions (face‑to‑face/telephone) including complaints.
- Processing high volumes of information in line with office policies and procedures.
- Effectively working in a team environment.
- Monitoring budgets in line with business contracts.
- Proficient in the use of the MS office suite (including Word, Excel and Access) in a business context.
- 1 year’s practical experience of line management of staff.
