Freight Forwarder
Location: Liverpool
Salary: £32,000 - £37,000 DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00

They are seeking a passionate and driven Freight Forwarder to join their growing team. Key role responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage end‑to‑end freight forwarding operations across import and export shipments.
- Liaise with carriers, overseas agents, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth and timely movement of goods.
- Prepare, check, and process all required shipping and customs documentation accurately.
- Monitor shipment progress and provide regular updates to customers and stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any operational issues or delays as they arise.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant transport, customs, and trade regulations.
- Negotiate rates with carriers and suppliers to achieve cost‑effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records across all shipments, including tracking, billing, and documentation.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service, responding promptly to queries and requests.
- Experience across both import and export freight operations.
Job skills required
- Freight forwarding experience minimum 2 years’ experience.
- Someone who can take ownership and see the job through from start to finish.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to problem‑solve quickly and make effective decisions under pressure.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Highly driven, self‑motivated, and committed to achieving results.
