About the role

Great Britain's electricity infrastructure is undergoing an ambitious, exciting and vital transformation. Together with industry, we are creating a cleaner, greener system, one that protects the planet and serves generations to come.

As an EPC Project Manager at National Grid, you’ll play a critical role in delivering major high-voltage infrastructure projects that support the UK’s transition to a cleaner, greener energy system. Our work spans large-scale cable replacement programmes, substation upgrades, and overhead line refurbishments across England and Wales—projects that are vital to achieving our net zero ambitions.

You’ll be responsible for project managing projects from early development through construction and close‑out, ensuring robust governance, regulatory compliance, and excellent delivery outcomes. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including OFGEM, you’ll help secure regulatory approvals while balancing safety, cost, quality, and environmental responsibilities.

We currently have opportunities within our Central region, covering Warwickshire through to Essex and Suffolk. This is a hybrid role requiring an average of three days per week on site, travelling, or in the office, with the remainder worked from home. You’ll join a collaborative and experienced team where your expertise is valued, and you’ll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on nationally significant infrastructure.
