We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of delivering major civil engineering and construction projects across the UK.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery across all aspects of project performance including safety, commercial, programme, quality, and client management.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Acting as the primary company representative across all project interfaces
  • Serving as the main client contact, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations
  • Leading and developing project teams to deliver against programme, cost, and quality targets
  • Developing and managing construction programmes and driving delivery performance
  • Overseeing progress reporting, production controls, and performance improvement
  • Implementing and maintaining safety, quality, and environmental management systems
  • Leading the development of RAMS, CPPs, Quality Plans, and associated documentation
  • Promoting a strong safety culture with zero tolerance for unsafe practices
  • Managing labour, plant, and materials in coordination with commercial and operational teams
  • Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, design teams, and temporary works
  • Managing project budgets, costs, and commercial performance
  • Identifying and managing variations in line with contractual requirements
  • Attending and leading client, progress, and H&S meetings
  • Providing regular updates on performance, risks, and key project issues

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in construction or civil engineering
  • Strong background in delivering complex infrastructure or building projects
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong understanding of commercial, contractual, and programme management
  • Experience managing client relationships at a senior level
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and variations
  • Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
