Our client a leading UK Financial Services Provider is seeking a Commercial Lawyer for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract
The role will deal with commercial contracts including drafting and negotiation of agreements and documents with Third party vendors and suppliers
Key Responsibilities:
- As the firm's Contract Lawyer key point of contract to provide advice to the business
- Evaluation of new business partnerships with vendors and subcontractors
- Advise on new service agreements
- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial legal agreements : templates, contracts, side letters, non-disclosure, consulting, service, agency and distribution agreements, IT contracts, outsourcing agreements, general terms and conditions, data protection, IP and commercial due diligence including SaaS
- Review and negotiate supplier and customer contracts
- Advise management to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Ensure consistency of contract terms with company policies and strategy
- Ongoing monitoring of best practices to enhance contracts review processes
- This is a conduct Rules role under the SMCR regime.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified lawyer
- Broad experience of Commercial Contracts and 3 rd party agreements
- .Experience of tenders and supply chain management
- Financial Services experience a plus
