Job Title: Fabricator (Shipbuilding / Ship Repair)

Location: Plymouth

Employment Type: Contract – Ongoing

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Fabricator to join our team, working on specialist marine engineering projects. This role will involve fabrication and fitting work on naval vessels, including high-specification components within challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabrication and fitting of brackets, seating and inserts
• Working from engineering drawings and specifications
• Carrying out precise cutting and shaping of materials
• Ensuring all work meets strict quality and safety standards
• Collaborating with wider engineering and production teams

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience in shipbuilding and/or ship repair
• Proficiency in oxy-acetylene and plasma cutting
• Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Experience of working on Submarines is desirable but not essential
