Our client is seeking a Senior SOC Analyst to lead a small team delivering 24/7 Security Operations Centre (SOC) services across multiple projects and platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SOC professional who enjoys combining technical depth with leadership responsibility.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and support a shift team of SOC Analysts
- Monitor security systems to identify, investigate, and respond to threats and suspicious activity
- Enhance security controls and contribute to RBAC and Identity & Access Management (IDAM) initiatives
- Act as a senior escalation point, taking incidents through investigation to response
- Deliver security awareness training and produce clear, concise reports for stakeholders
- Support continuous improvement across SOC processes and capabilities
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with SIEM tools and security monitoring platforms
- Strong understanding of how to maximise value from available security tooling
- Ability to lean into adjacent areas of expertise, such as engineering or GRC
- Exposure to building security capability and consulting with customers to improve their environments
- Confidence leading junior analysts and managing incidents end‑to‑end
Desirable
- Degree in Computing, Cyber Security, or a related discipline
- Experience with SOC procedures, playbooks, and process development
