Job Opportunity: Buyer (Procurement) – Space Structures Assemblies

Location: Stevenage

Duration: Until November 2026 (possible extension)

Role Overview:

• Join a dynamic procurement team managing supplier contracts and driving commercial performance
• Ensure competitiveness, quality, and on-time delivery across the supply chain

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate new contracts and amendments with suppliers
• Manage supplier performance, contracts, and continuous improvement targets
• Lead retendering activities and monitor contract timelines
• Assess supplier financial health and mitigate risks
• Ensure compliance with commercial terms and conditions
• Collaborate with stakeholders and support strategic supplier meetings
• Identify and promote innovative supplier solutions

Skills Required:

• Proven procurement or strong business process experience
• Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Commercial, contract, or finance knowledge (desirable)
