We are seeking a Project Quality Technician to join our team for an ongoing project in Bradford (Leeds, England). The successful candidate will provide technical support to ensure on-site quality standards and environmental compliance are met according to project specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Documentary Support: Assist in the implementation of project-specific quality and environmental documentation and monitor its daily application on-site.
- System Maintenance: Contribute to the improvement of management systems by identifying and reporting potential process enhancements.
- Material Inspection: Perform physical inspections and monitor the quality of critical materials and equipment upon delivery.
- Operational Efficiency: Execute standardized procedures to maintain and improve process efficiency on-site.
- Supply Verification: Review supply-related documentation to verify compliance with technical specifications during the engineering, manufacturing, and delivery phases.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed progress reports regarding all quality control activities and findings.
- On-site Awareness: Conduct specific training sessions and toolbox talks to raise quality and environmental awareness among site personnel.
- Issue Resolution: Support the technical resolution of internal and external incidents or non-conformities involving clients and suppliers.
- Standards Compliance: Verify that site operations align with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Technical Assistance: Assist project staff in fulfilling quality requirements, providing guidance on both fieldwork practices and the completion of quality records.
Requirements:
- Education: Higher Education Degree (Technical Diploma, University Degree, or equivalent Vocational Training).
- Experience: 3 years of experience in quality control or technical support roles, ideally within the energy sector.
- Languages: Upper-intermediate English (B2) is mandatory; other languages (Spanish, French, or Portuguese) are a plus.
- Location: Full availability to work on-site in Northern Ireland.
- Expertise: Valuable knowledge in electrical substations, hydroelectric plants, or power generation facilities.
- Environment: Training or practical knowledge in environmental management systems is highly regarded.
