Java Full Stack Engineer

Consulting Point is recruiting on behalf of a leading consulting firm looking for a Java Full Stack Engineer to join their fast-growing digital transformation practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver innovative, real-world solutions in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across the public and private sectors.

As a Java Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building cloud-native digital platforms and modern web applications. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver value through clean, scalable, and secure code that makes a real impact.

Requirements:

• Strong experience developing microservices with Java and the Spring Boot framework
• Experience with Docker and Docker Compose
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Ability to use Git for version control, along with platforms like GitHub or GitLab
• Comfortable working in agile delivery teams with strong collaboration and communication skills

Desirable Experience:

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
• Experience working with NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB) or SQL databases (such as Postgres)
• Awareness of accessibility, coding standards, and development best practices
• Bonus points for experience with:
• Building microservices in C#
• Integrating large language model tools (e.g., LangChain, Vercel AI)
• GOV.UK Design System or templating with Nunjucks
