1st Staff is a leading nationwide Alternative Provision provider. We specialise in supporting children and young people, aged 4-25, through delivering bespoke educational and holistic therapeutic support.


We work closely with Local Authorities to support young people throughout Suffolk. Our tutors work with young people who are unable to access mainstream education, due to SEN and SEMH needs, challenging behaviour and risk of permanent exclusion.


We are currently seeking dedicated 1:1 Tutors throughout Suffolk.


Areas include but are not limited to: Sudbury, Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Haverhill, Stowmarket etc.


About the Role:

Your role will be to plan and deliver engaging, personalised learning sessions on a one-to-one basis to students. This is an incredibly rewarding role for someone who is patient, caring, and able to build strong, positive relationships with young people.


Experience as a Teacher, Teaching Assistant, Tutor, or Mentor is highly desirable.


Location: Face to face in a child’s home, local library, or community centre

Role: 1:1 Outreach Tutor

Hours: Part-time or full-time

Start Date: ASAP
